This is certainly the shortest puzzle ever used on the show and the only known two letter puzzle to be used also.
The higher-level shot of the set introduced in early 1993 is also retained. Except for the removal of the '10th Anniversary' graphic and the addition of a closed-captioning bug, the opening animation is unchanged from last season.
